Taxes....

I hate taxes.... And I hate democrat state assholes in NC that keep raising the fucking taxes.

Here are the problems folks. In NC the state government spends MORE than is takes IN. This causes a deficit with a shortage of money. Right now they are purposing raising the taxes on movie tickets, candy, circus tickets, and state fair tickets, cable/satellite TV, driver license renewal, title registration, and crack down on internet sales.

They raised the taxes from 6 percent over a year ago to 7 percent. Then from here if you buy food in the grocery store you pay a county tax of 3 percent. So if you go to the store to buy a loaf of bread you’re paying 10 percent tax on an already taxed item. Import tax from out of state, handling fees, inspections, etc... Your getting double penetrated without the option of lube.

I already spend $143 on cable/internet/phone.... Included into that $143 is an already sales tax, FCC regulatory tax, 911 emergency taxes, and an added state tax for what ever the damn reason. They are going to jack the state tax another 7 to 12 percent.

Circus tickets, Movie tickets, and fair tickets are on the increase list as well. Why? I have no clue. The legislature (Easley *I hate that fucking prick*) said the reason why they jack the taxes up on cigarettes is to deter kids from buying them. So why raise taxes on the things kids enjoy doing that isn't going to cause health issues?

Oh they throw in an increase in tax on Candy. What the hell is this? Remember earlier I told you about the 7 percent sales tax and the added 3 percent food tax from the county? So they are increasing Candy tax from 10 percent to what? I would like to know.

My driver’s license renewal costs roughly $20 every 4 to 6 years. They want to increase this as well. For what reason again, I don't know. The title on my car costs $20; they want to raise it to $28. Why? Again I have no clue. I have to pay for the tax on the title of my car each year.

Internet sales tax.... Here is one that bothers the ever living piss out of me. The internet should be a tax free trade zone. Period end of the damn story. The government should not reap any benefit from the internet period in the way of taxes. People still go to brick and mortar stores and buy merchandise. Hell I do it all the damn time. I love going into wal-mart and looking over the DVD's (cheap ones), clothes, shoes, and whatever else tickles my fancy. They get enough tax out of me those bastards.

I'm sick of this tax shit. If the government knew how to spend money correctly and wisely they probably wouldn't have to cover their asses by raising taxes each year. I know other states have there own issues with taxes, but I don't know the tax code for other states just my own.
